We are extremely excited to announce that SilverRail and i:FAO are announcing a new deal to expand the amount of rail content that i:FAO will be offering through its self-booking tool, cytric.

In about 10 days, the SilverRail team are going to be descending on Rome to participate in the ACTE (Association of Corporate Travel Executives) Global Education Conference.

Below is a recount of Mike and Keith's ride on the Pan Mass Challenge that took place a couple of weekends ago. 

Certainly at SilverRail, we're very proud to have people like Mike and Keith on our team, puting the effort in to support causes such as this.  Congratulations to you both, and all the other riders in the Pan Mass Challenge.  You can still support their efforts on the PMC website.

On August 4th and 5th, two members of the SilverRail engineering team will be riding 192 miles as part of the Pan Mass Challenge, a two-day bike ride to support the Dana-Farber Insitute and the Jimmy Fund.

At SilverRail, we are proud to support their athletic and charitable pursuits as they take on this huge endeavour.

As part of the announcement about our recent fundraising, our CEO and co-founder Aaron Gowell appeared on Quest Means Business on CNN talking about the opportunity that SilverRail is facing to help consolidate the rail carriers ticketing and reservation systems, particularly in Europe.

We are extremely excited to be announcing that we have closed our Series B funding round of $15m.  The round was led by Canaan Partners, and John Balen will be joining our board going forward.

This funding round will enable us to accelerate the addition of rail carriers into the SilverCore platform, as well investing in the development of cross-border and multi-carrier journey planning.

We are very pleased to announce a new partner in the SilverRail stable.  KDS, an international provider of travel and expense management solutions, has signed on with SilverRail to expand its, already substantial, coverage of rail markets around the globe.  But is also looking to improve functionality with the SilverRail relationship in some markets where it already has its own connections.

While presenting at the Travel Technology Europe show in London this week, our CEO Aaron Gowell, who was recently named one of the top 25 most influential executives in the travel industry, had a chance to sit down with Lee Hayhurst from Travolution to talk about what we are doing here at SilverRail.

Next week, SilverRail will be presenting a workshop at the Travel Technology Europe Trade Show taking place at Earls Court in London next Tuesday.

We are very pleased to announce that we have recently signed a deal with Renfe, the Spanish rail operator, to help distribute tickets both domestically and internationally through our distribution partners, available for all travel sellers, including Travel Management Companies (TMCs), Self Booking Tools and Online Travel Agents (OTAs).
