Employee Profiles

Nathan Polonski is one of our newest additions to the SilverRail team, and has definitely hit the ground running.  Getting up to speed on the SilverRail platform through testing and moving through to thinking about how best to scale our software through automating our private cloud infrastructure.  Nathan has been a great addition to the team, and great to have him featured here on our blog!  

Sachin Sawe has been here at SilverRail since the very beginning.  He is one of the key members of the development team and is always looking for ways to improve the processes and the application.  Sachin has made a great contribution so far, and I'm sure will continue to do so as our development of the SilverCore platform continues.

Stephanie Weaver has been with us here at SilverRail since the beginning.  In classic start-up style, Stephanie has a role that involves wearing a lot of hats, and so does bits and pieces of everything!  Stephanie helps our new customers get the technology integrated into their system with her project management and technical advice, and also helps us manage the relationships with some of the carriers, in particular Amtrak (US) and Via Rail (Canada) helping the flow of information between the carriers and our distribution partners. 

Stephanie is one of those people that keeps everything working - we'd be lost without her.  Thank you again for all your work Steph!

Paul Barrow has just had his first SilverRail anniversary, and is responsible for the producing all of our documentation in SilverCentral, our online developer resources, as well as managing our internal wiki.  Basically, if we didn't have Paul, our customers would be feeling around in the dark trying to implement to our API.  But thanks to Paul, we have an excellent and comprehensive documentation suite that has been extremely helpful for our new partners.  

And like me, Paul is a fellow Brit in the Boston office, so a good partner for rants about the lack of decent tea and Marmite in the US.  Thanks for overcoming your "British reluctance to talk about yourself" Paul, and keep up the great work.

Mike Perrault is one of our more recent recruits, and heads up the UI work we do here at SilverRail. Right now he is leading the charge on the development of our Agent application, SilverAgent, which will provide a tool for travel management companies to manage their rail bookings directly. We should have the first beta product out this fall, something we are very excited about. Thanks for the profile Mike, and keep up the great work!

Bill Rabkin has been with SilverRail for about a year and a half, and has made a great impact on the Product team since his arrival.  He's the man to talk to for all the detail on the intricacies of rail connections, particularly the UK.  And is kicking off our series of employee profiles every couple of weeks here.  Thanks Bill!
