SILVERRAIL WINS BEST IN BIZ & TRAVOLUTION AWARDS

What a triumphant week it’s been at SilverRail Tech

On Tuesday evening SilverRail was crowned the winner of the ‘Best Technology Innovation’ award in front of 500+ industry peers at the 2016 Travolution Awards – the UK travel industry’s highest accolade for innovation and excellence online.

This was based on the entry that we submitted in June which focused on our SilverCore API – the world’s first unified platform for global rail distribution which is reducing rail complexity, and helping the rail industry to grow market share and build its profile by bringing rail to the forefront of travellers consideration. This was supported by a number of key partnerships, including: Expedia, Rome2Rio, Egenica, Deutsche Bahn, Trenitalia, Govia, StageCoach and Traveline.

The entry was judged by a panel of proven business leaders, experts and entrepreneurs – an extremely prestigious award that we are thrilled to have won.

It didn’t stop there. On Wednesday SilverRail was named a bronze winner in the ‘Best Place to Work – medium category (100-999 employees)’ in Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts.
Our award entry focused on employee satisfaction and employee well-being, looking at factors such as flexible work arrangements, mentoring, financial and lifestyle perks. Here are some of the snippets taken directly from our entry:

The sixth annual program in North America garnered more than 600 entries, from an impressive array of public and private companies of all sizes and from a variety of industries and geographic regions in the U.S. and Canada. Winners were determined based on scoring from an independent panel of 50 judges from widely known newspapers, business, consumer and technology publications, TV outlets, and analyst firms.
