Viktigt meddelande till dig som resenär

Kontrollera alltid att biljetterna stämmer överens med din beställning. Om dokumentet (biljetten) ger rätt till transport med ett trafikföretag, sker denna transport enligt gällande offentliga bestämmelser samt varje särskilt trafikföretags generella och speciella transportbestämmelser. Dessa kan erhållas hos trafikföretaget ifråga och finns på respektive trafikföretags hemsida. Biljett och/eller servicekupong inlöses enligt gällande regler, om vilka upplysningar lämnas av den som utställt dokumentet. När resa köpts hos en auktoriserad återförsäljare, som inte själv står för transportens utförande, uppträder denne endast som återförsäljare och har således inget ansvar för transportens utförande.

Dokumentet (biljetten) skall utan anmodan visas upp vid biljettkontroll.

Vid eventuella störningar i din resa som orsakar förseningar är det viktigt att du som resenär tar kontakt med trafikföretagets personal för att få ett intyg gällande störningen samt information om hur din vidare resa berörs.

I tillägg till gällande taxor och bestämmelser som gäller den aktuella resan gäller även Europaparlamentets och rådets förordning (EU) 2021/782 av den 29 april 2021 om rättigheter och skyldigheter för tågresenärer (omarbetning) (PRR) och de Allmänna Transportvillkoren (General Conditions of Carriage (GCC-CIV/PRR).

Om ditt resedokument innehåller flera biljetter utgör varje biljett från olika järnvägsföretag separata transportavtal, även om biljetterna köpts i en och samma affärstransaktion, och är inte en direktbiljett enligt PRR.

Om denna biljett är utfärdad för en gränsöverskridande resa sker befordran enligt gällande taxor och bestämmelser i internationell trafik “Fördrag om internationell järnvägstrafik” (COTIF) inkluderande “Enhetliga rättsregler för avtal om internationell transport av resande på järnväg” (CIV) samt de i transporten ingående transportörernas Särskilda Transportvillkor (SCIC). Dessa föreskrifter finns tillgängliga hos de säljställen som säljer utrikesbiljetter. Information om hos vilka transportörer och transporttjänster CIV, PRR och GCC-CIV/PRR är giltiga kan även erhållas via CITs webbsida (www.cit-rail.org). Återbetalning av internationella biljetter sker enligt särskilda föreskrifter.

Den resande skall närvara vid fullgörandet av tullmyndigheters eller andra administrativa myndigheters skyldigheter. Den resande måste själv inhämta information hos ambassad eller konsulat om pass- och visumbestämmelser. Om biljetten säljs av en auktoriserad resebyrå, agerar resebyrån endast som återförsäljare till det utfärdande trafikföretaget och har inget ansvar för transportavtalets utförande. Tvister får endast avgöras av de rättsinstanser som anges i GCC-CIV/PRR.

Tillämplig lag är den som tillämpas av behörig rättsinstans.

Important message to the holder of this document

Always check that the tickets are issued in accordance with your requirements. If this document (the ticket) entitles to transportation with a carrier, the transport will be carried out according to existing public regulations and each carrier’s general and special conditions of carriage. These conditions can be obtained by applying to the carrier in question and are available on the website of each carrier. Ticket and/or voucher is redeemed according to existing conditions which are provided by the issuer of the ticket/voucher. If a journey has been bought from an authorised retailer, not performing the transport, he only acts as retailer and does not assume any liability for the performance of the journey or of the additional service.

The ticket/document should be shown without being requested.

In the event of any disruption in your journey that cause delays, it is important that you as a traveller contact the carrier’s staff to obtain a certificate regarding the disruption as well as information on how your onward journey is affected.

In addition to the rates and regulations that apply to the journey in question the Regulation (EU) 2021/782 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2021 on rail passengers’ rights and obligations (recast) (PRR) and the General Conditions of Carriage (GCC-CIV/PRR) also apply.

If your travel document contains several tickets, each ticket from each different railway undertaking constitutes a separate transport contract, even if the tickets are purchased in a single commercial transaction, and are not a through ticket according to PRR.

If the ticket is issued for an international cross-border journey, carriage is subject to the “Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail” (COTIF) including the “Uniform rules concerning the Contract of International Carriage of Passengers by Rail” (CIV), and the Special Conditions of Carriage (SCIC) of the carriers included in the transport. These conditions are available by the sales points selling international tickets. The CIT website (www.cit-rail.org) also shows the carriers and transport services which are subject to the CIV Uniform rules, the PRR and GCC-CIV/PRR. Refund of international tickets are subject to special conditions.

Passengers must be present during administrative obligations required by customs or other authorities. The passengers are responsible for obtaining information regarding passport or visa regulations by the corresponding embassy or consulate. If a ticket is sold by an authorised travel agency, the agency acts merely as the intermediary of the issuing undertaking and assumes no liability arising from the contract of carriage.

Disputes may only be brought before the courts and tribunals stated in the GCC-CIV/PRR. The applicable law is the one of the competent court and tribunal.
