SilverRail's Partnership With Payzone Brings Rail Ticketing to the High Street

The partnership between SilverRail, Payzone and Transport for Wales brings real ticketing to those members of society who either prefer to use cash or are part of the non banked community.
SilverRail provides the vital integration between the Payzone retail device and the ticketing information system which allows them to retail the train tickets.
Payzone recognised that the transport industry needed to offer more choice for customers as digital ticketing does not work for everyone. Customers paying with cash need to be able to access all of the ticket types available to the digitally confident customers. By working with SilverRail, Payzone have enabled cash paying customers to access the best fares possible, providing a truly socially inclusive channel for passengers wanting to travel.
