SilverRail Technologies Inc, via its subsidiary SilverRail Linkon AB, has acquired SJ AB’s twenty-five percent share of SilverRail Technologies AB and is now the sole owner of the Company.

SilverRail Technologies AB (formerly Linkon AB) provides software solutions for inventory, sales and distribution, operations and settlement for rail and ground transport services in Scandinavia. It was previously a wholly owned subsidiary of SJ AB. In 2014, SilverRail Linkon AB acquired seventy-five percent of the shares of the Company. By exercising an option in the Shareholders Agreement, SilverRail Technologies Inc has elected to become the sole owner of the Company.

“This is a natural step since SJ AB divested most of Linkon already in 2014. By then it was clear that a sales system used by large parts of the industry should not be owned over time by any individual rail operator”, says SJ’s CEO Crister Fritzson.

Cameron Jones, MD SilverRail Technologies AB says “SilverRail Technologies is expanding with a growing local and international client base. This move towards autonomy is therefore both natural and welcome.”
